    I will not be able to articulate how I truly felt reading this book. I fell more madly in love with Liam than I thought I could. I hated Aaron even more! But Natalie stood her ground, fought for Liam and it was beautiful! I loved seeing what these two had to endure to be together. Such a beautifully written book. I loved them and was so happy with the ending!!

    The minute I finished Consolation, I jumped right into Conviction. I could not wait to find out what happens between Liam and Natalie. Conviction is the conclusion to this duet and should be read after Consolation. The book picks up right where the first left off and let's just say the emotions are running extremely high for all the characters. A good portion of the book is bittersweet, as Natalie and Liam adjust and cope with the realities they face. Nothing is easy and there is heartbreak along the way, but I loved that their connection and feelings never faltered. I apologize for the vagueness of this review, but I really don't want to spoil anything for anyone. This is an emotional book that deals with life, death, grief, forgiveness, love, and what it means to be a family. The writing is poignant and moving throughout and will have you crying one minute and laughing the next. Although the duet could have been consolidated into one longer book, I think it was important to give all the relationships time to grow, mature, and heal. I really enjoyed taking this journey with Liam and Natalie and the last part of the book left my heart full and happy. Having Liam's POV for the epilogue was the icing on the cake. He's just as deliciously sexy and hilarious in this book as he was in Consolation. Swoon indeed ;) I loved this duet and this really was the perfect ending. It's not the true end though, since there is one more book in the series about Mark called Defenseless, and all the characters from the previous books appear. I truly enjoyed this love story and I can't wait to read more books by this author!

    A Review of Conviction by Corinne Michaels Fighting for love - 5+++++ stars The conclusion of the Consolation Duet is just as AMAZING as the first book in the series. The first book dealt with Aaron's death and Natalie doing her best to live life without him to finally falling in love with their best friend. Liam came back to Virginia when he was transferred to Aaron's old team and he wanted to help Natalie take care of all the things that needed to be done when a military spouse has passed. He pulled her out of the depression she was existing with and helped her realize that she still had a lot to live for. Especially her baby girl. He taught her how to laugh again and to see the good in life. Although both of them tried to ignore it, their friendship became even stronger until they both admited that they loved each other. Just as everything was falling in place for them, Liam has to go on a special mission, which causes her to worry constantly, but when he returns, he brings her something she never expected — her husband. This second book deals with all the fallout from being happy that Aaron is alive to realizing that she will have to hurt him even more when she chooses Liam. The last year without him gave her time and space to really look at their marriage and to see the problems that they were avoiding. There was sooooo much heart break in both of these books, but also soooo much love. The scenes with Liam's Mom broke my heart and in a way I truly felt for Aaron. Yes, he made mistakes — huge ones, but he is only human. I hope that he gets his own HEA somewhere down the line.     First, I usually don't leave reviews. Not for any particular reason, I just don't. But with this one, I had to! I have never had a book evoke so much emotion like this one, as well as Consolation. I've never cried, laughed, been as happy/angry or felt so strongly for the characters like I have with Consolation and Conviction. I have definitely found a new favorite author

    Awesome conclusion to the Consolation Series. Natalie and Liam shouldn't be made for each other but under difficult circumstances they found each other only to be torn apart again. Love Liam, he is a man who never thought he would love, he was married to the Seals, but not only does he love he does so honestly and fully. Natalie is a strong women in a very difficult situation. What I appreciated about the story was that there was zero time around who should Natalie love, she knew right away her heart was with Liam and continuously showed him even when he doubted. Another great series by Corinne Michaels, can't wait for Mark's story next!

    The conclusion to The Consolation Duet was well worth the wait. Corinne will leave you wrecked and gutted with Consolation but Conviction will give you all that you can handle and more. Lee is an everyday wife and mother faced with extreme life altering issues. Liam is a military man with a goodness that goes so deep he seems unreal. Staying true to her characters, Corinne brings you in and has you living and breathing with Lee, Liam, Aaron and the whole crew! Lee finds a way to stay true to her self and as a woman, we all know how hard that can be because we tend to put others first. Fall in love with Liam and find a piece of yourself in Lee. Sometimes, life gets in the way. Finding your way through makes it worth the fight.

    Swoon. Liam is dreamy for sure! Great ending to Natalie and Liam's story, although some of the mystery about the group/mission continues.
