    I agree with you, if it was 1,000 years ago, how will inkwell be alive? It's like that war was when she was 0 and now she's 1,000 years old. IT'S SO WEIRD!!! It's like the author meant to say 10 years ago. But still. It's weird.

    I would've paid the $4 for the 2-3 pages of fighting alone! Although, I take it the siege scene was supposed to be the original Nightmare Moon war from 1000 years ago due to the particularly shadowy army akin to that found in the Nightmarity arc (and the g1 representations of the Mane 6 making cameos) which means it wouldn't make sense that Inkwell was still alive at all, let alone teaching. Did I miss something or is this just a plot hole? Other than that, I loved it! Very touching at the end and there's all kind of implications for how Celestia copes with living for so long and surely seeing some beloved friends die along the way. For example, they notably used the g1 versions of the mane 6 -leaving out Posey (Fluttershy) and Applejack due to similarity- in the flashbacks, implying an original Mane 6 that's sometimes found in fanon, now also surely dead. It's the first time anything like this has been seriously addressed in canon, and I'm sure it will make many a brony happy! Overall, definitely one of the better micros, up there with Rarity's, Applejack's, and Pinkie Pie's for me.
