    I thought this could have been a good plot line, but could not finish reading it due to horrible spelling and grammar mistakes. Although it was a free book, even the author should have read it over!

    The story says it is about a young woman who is a survivor, passionate about her ideals. Nope. It is only an excuse for steamy YA necking. The young woman turns out to be a disappointing Stepford wife in the making and all it takes is the guy to tell her that he would like her to come to do something and she does it. Drops everything she has to do and does whatever he has to say. The book has pages full of descriptions of the governor's palace which awe this lady. Her mom supposedly a nurse talks like she is a BFF who can't wait for her daughter to land a good catch. She cannot stand the governor but is quaking in her boots in his presence whereas she is supposed to be this fiery kid who is from a "blue middle class american family that speaks its mind" this book just talks down to the serfs . Pretentious and false. The author knows she is using tropes and says it. It is a shame. She could have just said she has written a straight erotic chick lit and be done instead of blowing hot and cold.
