  • What a fun book!

    I loved this book - funny, fast paced, well written and easy to read. When I read a book I want to be entertained and this book definitely filled that requirement. No grammar or spelling problems like in some books-just pure entertainment. I definitely recommend this book/author and look forward to reading more books by her.

    Oh boy. Where do I begin. With the author's caricature of the protagonist, a stereotypical blond who likes shoes and giggles and best I can tell is horrible at her job and seriously interfering with criminal investigations? Or with the cop who somehow finds her simpering manic pixie dumb girl act attractive and breaks a whole bunch of laws by never arresting her for obstruction of justice? Or with the bizarre fat-shaming the author does (even being sure to mention two different characters exact weights and using the word "waddle")? This book is REAL BAD, y'all.

    Light, fun story. There were a few typos, but nothing bad enough to detract from the story.(Sorry, I've read several ebooks lately that were ruined by errors that should have been caught by proofreaders.)

    Humorous, good story line. I chuckled each time the heroine stopped for fast food in the midst of danger, and always had a good excuse for the calories she consumed. She must have a great metabolism.

    I generally didn't mind the story and some characters were fine but the main one, Maddie, drove me nuts. I don't want to give anything away but the diet coke scene, are you kidding me? She was too neurotic and bizarre for me. Almost stopped reading twice but I didn't have a next book ready so I skimmed through to get to the end. Menh.
