Definitely a "guy" book, but it was fast moving, and the narrator was very good.
This was truly a great read. The characters were well-developed, details connected in with previous books smoothly, and there were enough surprises to keep it interesting, without seeming contrived. I spent too much time, watching the page count go down, as I regrettably headed toward the end. The scary and sick details were selacious enough to be interesting, without sparking prurient curiosity. The story line flowed smoothly and logically, and the ending was not anti-climatic.
Sorry, did not enjoy. The worst John Sanford book I've read.

Great story line, excellent detail, scene illustration was great.all the technical points that you expect from this Author. Read this novel in 36 hours. Hurry with next lone please!
I really enjoy this authors books. This one involves a rough topic but the book is very well written, the main characters great and the action toward the end is phenomenal. Clearly a page turner and well worth the read.
More gross than entertaining...the end was better than the beginning
The bad guys were not clever at all. Flowers figured out stuff...but it was an unfair fight. The series of events that started everything was hard to swallow.
Prefer his stories that have one bad guy who is smart enough to be a real challenge to catch.
It was more heavy on the really sick graphic porn than usual.

Virgil manages to get himself into, and out of, some very strange
Stuff again. He does it so well, you can't stop reading until you chigger it out! Excellent mystery for those who hate to figure it out before the end.
