    Intelligent and captivating! I sat on the edge of my seat for most of the book! Kept rocking the reader to get the ships to move faster to get out of the enemy's way! Hicks is a born storyteller. You want to hug the heroes and kill the seriously disturbing aliens. Now I'm on to book 2 to find out what happens next! I'm going to so enjoy the next few months as I read this series! Thrill!
