  • Oh what a story......

    He wrote. The pages turned faster the further in I went. The characters took shape as their stories grew richer and gradually intersected. The ending made sense, and the evil characters got their comeuppance in spades. The good guys persevered and a new layer of mystery was added as the character, skills, and past of Assad who is evolving into a force to be reckoned with. The victim of the story has been put on a path that could lead to a happy ending..... Definitely worth the trip. Well, I liked it a lot.
  • Bad translation

    This could have been a more interesting story, but the simplistic and passion-less translation just ruined the book. By far my favorite is The Absent One - a brutally sad story but the translation really gave the characters and story a beautiful heart and soul.....
