    I think everyone can appreciate a sexy billionaire! I sure do. Even if he is fictional. Great read! It was clear, with vivid descriptions, and good grammar! Yes, I give props for grammar. Yes, it's 60 pages but those 60 get you hooked. I enjoyed this first book and can't wait to read the second. I can't wait to see if Lana's ex, Tom does next. And what Max does to protect Lana.... Dun, dun duuuuuuun! To be continued! 😁

    This was a fast read, but a great one at that! It draws you in because it doesn't give you all of the details, which leads you to wanting to read it faster in order to find out what happens next. With that being said, I wish the book was longer. I enjoyed that it was fast-paced, but would have preferred it to be a little more descriptive with the chemistry between Lana and Max when they first met. There were also a lot of "quiet" moments in the book that could have been filled with something to grab the reader's attention, even more. The incident after dinner, in the car, was off the charts -- but it could have been even more mind blowing with a few adds/edits. Other times, there were thoughts from the characters that were written out, but could have been replaced with other....material(?). But, hey! I am no writer. Just a huge sucker for all things romance, and I especially think Lucia Jordan is an amazing writer!

    I enjoyed the character Lara and her impulsive need to express her thoughts without remorse- initially. Mr Winters, in his elusiveness is intriguing and had me wanting to turn the pages faster than I could read. I really want to know what happens and if he is a Werewolf as it implies.
